Precision Projects is a licensed, bonded, and insured contracting company serving Northern Arizona since 2021. We specialize in residential and light commercial remodeling, custom carpentry, and home repairs throughout the Flagstaff area. Meet Jeff Fitzgerald
Founder Jeff Fitzgerald brings over 14 years of hands-on construction experience to every project. After earning his Eagle Scout rank and graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Engineering Management in 2009, Jeff spent years working alongside painters, plumbers, carpenters, and contractors throughout Arizona, learning the building trades from the ground up. He saw firsthand how quality could vary wildly—some contractors took pride in their work, others just wanted to get paid and move on.
That experience shaped Jeff’s approach when he founded Precision Projects in 2017 and obtained his CR-61 contractor’s license in 2021. He built the company on a simple principle: treat every project like it’s your own home. Jeff is first and foremost a dedicated carpenter working toward mastery of his craft, with a particular focus on finish carpentry where precision matters most.
Our Approach
We’re not the biggest remodeling company in Flagstaff, and that’s intentional. Jeff personally oversees every project, ensuring the work meets our standards before we call it done. We don’t juggle 15 jobs at once—we focus on doing excellent work for a manageable number of clients who deserve our full attention.
This approach means transparent communication, realistic timelines, quality materials, and craftsmanship that lasts. It means returning to adjust a light fixture or touch up paint even after final payment. It means flagging potential problems before they become expensive surprises. Our clients appreciate our honesty, reliability, and refusal to cut corners.
Since 2021, we’ve completed nearly 200 residential projects—from minor repairs to full kitchen and bathroom remodels. Our reputation is built on word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied homeowners who trust us enough to recommend us to their friends and family.
Why Flagstaff
Jeff settled in Flagstaff in 2009, drawn by the mountains and access to nature. He and his wife have built their life here—tending a small homestead, camping with friends, and exploring National Parks throughout the region. This connection to Northern Arizona isn’t just personal; it’s professional. Jeff understands mountain living, high-altitude construction challenges, and what it takes to build homes that withstand our climate.
In his free time, Jeff plays guitar and creates custom woodwork in his shop—cutting boards, keepsake boxes, and recently an ornate chess set. This same attention to craftsmanship and detail shows up in every project Precision Projects takes on.
